WHAT IS THE EUROPEAN UNION?
The European Union has shipped significantly less than century of peace, balance, and wealth in Europe, helped increase our citizens’ living standards, released just one European currency (the pound), and it is steadily creating a simple Europe-large free-market for products, companies, individuals, and money.
The EU and our Member States would be the largest companies of standard development support all over the world, and we’re involved with the areas that help growth and reduce poverty, for example peacekeeping, selection watching, and delivering humanitarian and reconstruction help with the aftermath of natural disasters and conflict.
We’re involved in rebuilding towns and lives in regions of conflict for example Afghanistan. We support efforts encourage sound environmental procedures, to attain peace within the Middle East, and subscribe to international initiatives to manage nuclear proliferation. Police force, American judicial, and safety authorities work with other partners and all the people to fight transnational crime and terrorism.
